Our Story
DSA Sports Club is a Canadian not-for-profit organization founded in Durham, Ontario. Established in 2021, the club brings together professionals from diverse backgrounds who share a passion for soccer and community engagement.
What began as a small gathering at Kateri Field, at Kateri Field at St. Kateri Tekakwitha Catholic School – DCDSB, following the COVID-19 lockdown, has since grown into a vibrant community of over 300 members.
Incorporated on March 16, 2023, DSA Sports Club is primarily made up of family-oriented, working-class professionals and students residing in the Durham Region and across the Greater Toronto Area. The club provides a welcoming and inclusive environment where members can stay active, foster friendships, and strengthen community ties.
Since 2023, DSA Sports Club has successfully developed and implemented an annual sponsorship program to support its sporting and community-building activities. Now in its third year, this initiative has helped sustain an exciting calendar of events that includes indoor and outdoor league seasons, friendly matches, a summer barbecue, a family game day, and an end-of-year celebration.
